October 9-11, 2009:
We took the morning to head to Weimar, TX. Sound exciting so far? It really was a nice time. We took CRG and BJG to visit their Great-Great-Grandmother!! Yes, I said Great-Great-Grandmother. BJG had never met her and it had been a while since CRG has seen her. My Great Grandmother is now 98 and lives in a nursing home in Weimar. Unfortunately, we don't get out enough to see her. She looked really good and was very excited to see CRG and meet BJG. That's my favorite moment....having our sons hang out with their Great-Great-Grandmother.
In addition to visiting Great-Great-Grandma, we also made a trip to the Katy Rice Harvest Festival. Cousin Avery and Uncle Jim came along as well. We had a nice time walking around the streets of Downtown Katy. Avery and Christopher played a couple of games while Benjamin was being fed. Imagine...Benjamin was hungry. Overall, it was a great time!

ReplyDeleteThat is such a great memory to make and so awesome that they have a Great-Great Grandmother. Mason & Taylor also have a Great-Great Grandmother that is 89 and I hope that Taylor will get to meet her very soon. Glad you guys had a good weekend.
